Three Story VCE Building

KLMSA provided demolition services to remove existing buildings onsite, before completing all site preparation, civil works, transport, installation and completion of the 84 module 3-Storey VCE Learning Centre.

The building comprised 12 Classrooms with a mix of both fixed and operable walls that can be opened up to create a 600 sqm exam room. The top floor consisted of an open plan VCE meeting space, kitchen, offices and breakout areas for students and staff. Building on a longstanding relationship with Bacchus Marsh Grammar School, KLMSA was able to complete the entire process from demolition to handover on time and on budget.

Multi-level education solutions are becoming increasingly popular within the education sector due to limited space and desire to maintain an existing footprint without encroaching on outdoor areas. KLMSA worked in conjunction with a range of engineers and consultants to address fire safety requirements for a project of this size.

The complex is now established as a proud feature on the hill, within the school environs at the Maddingley Campus, Bacchus Marsh.
