Double Storey Classroom Building

KLMSA designed, constructed and installed this learning facility for Caroline Springs Catholic Regional College, who required a building with highly functional learning areas, a bold colour scheme, and a small area footprint to avoid encroaching on the adjacent sports field.

The double storey modular building was encased with external CFC cladding painted in a myriad of patterns to draw attention to the large building. Louvres installed over the windows add depth and shading from harsh light. The lift housing was painted bright red with glass sections that show the internal workings!

KLMSA built the stairs within the modules, maximising space and ensuring a faster manufacturing timeline. Double width walkways and 2.7m ceilings give the building an expansive feel and allow smooth travel pathways for large numbers of students.
