It's been a busy three months at KL Modular Systems, we have been out to visit many of our clients who have built with us over the last 12 months. Ivy Tranter, Director Finance of KLMSA attended an Opening and Blessing of the new Marinatha Centre at Sacred Heart Primary School in Yea. The school facility was officially opened by Mr. Rob Mitchell MP, Member for McEwan on Friday 29th July, 2011.
She had a wonderful morning with all the students and staff at the Opening followed by a fantastic country morning tea. All the parents, staff and students were thrilled with their new facility, not only was the school utilising the facilities but it has given the community of Yea a large venue to hold meetings, dance classes and playgroups. The building incorporated a large area to hold plays and drama performances as well as a full kitchen, meeting rooms, toilets and storage facilities. This was certainly a wonderful BER gift for a small school, without the help of the Federal Government Sacred Heart would not have had the opportunity to have such a wonderful entertainment centre and KLMSA were excited to work with them to develop their dream. Sue Rolland also attended the official Opening and Blessing of the new VCAL Hub facility at St. Monica's College in Epping. This centre has been set up to give students doing VCAL studies their own individual classroom complex. KLMSA has been heavily involved with St. Monica's for many years also working with Brian Hanley, Principal on the Trades Centre and we look forward to working with the school in the future.

KLMSA are the winning tenderer for a large school project at Acacia College in Sth. Morang. Over the next four months we will be manufacturing and delivering six new modular buildings. Not only will we be providing classrooms KLMSA will also be building and fitting out a full Science facility, Food Technology facility, Student and Staff toilets along with a large Music/Drama building and a Design Technology building. We are excited to be working with the management team at Acacia College, these buildings will be very similar in design as their current buildings on site.
At KLMSA we endeavour to produce buildings that look very similar to existing structures, modular building is not the "poor man's" way of obtaining more space a KLMSA building is built to Building Code of Australia requirements meeting all the energy and construction standards set so that the new building complies with all the necessary Codes. Many clients are surprised at how little disruption there is to their facilities whilst we are installing and finishing off a KLMSA building.
